yup i only use pen tool in my vectors. that is normal to have loads of layers. you should put it into 'sets' so it's easier to edit the effects

sweet, that'd be so kind of you .....do you use the pen tool in photoshop for this by any chance? because i have some experience doing that to photos, but i use so many layers because i do so much detail. this to me just looks so much simple'r made, lol
